【重点精讲】 重点一:定语从句 (1)考点评述:判断关系代词与关系副词。 (2)知识回顾:用关系代词还是关系副词完全取决于从句中的谓语动词。不及物动词后面无宾语,就必须要求用关系副词或者是介词加关系代词;而及物动词后接宾语,则要求用关系代词。 (3)考题赏析: 例1 Is this museum ___ you visited a few days ago? A. where B. that C. on which D. the one 例2 Is this the museum ____ the exhibition was held? A. where B. that C. on which D. the one 解析:准确判断先行词在定语从句中的成分(主、谓、宾、定、状),也能正确选择出关系代词/关系副词。 答案:D,A 点评:关系词的选择依据在从句中所做的成分,先行词在从句中做主、定、宾语时,选择关系代词(who, whom, that, which, whose);先行词在从句中做状语时,应选择关系副词(where地点状语,when时间状语,why原因状语)。 重点二:过去完成时 (1)考点评述:表示过去的过去,其构成是had +过去分词构成。 (2)知识回顾: 用法 a. 在told, said, knew, heard, thought等动词后的宾语从句。 b. 状语从句 在过去不同时间发生的两个动作中,发生在先,用过去完成时;发生在后,用一般过去时。如:When the police arrived, the thieves had run away. c. 表示意向的动词,如hope, wish, expect, think, intend, mean, suppose等,用过去完成时表示“原本……,未能……”,如:We had hoped that you would come, but you didn't. (3)考题赏析: 例3 The students ___ busily when Miss Brown went to get a book she ___ in the office. A. had written, left B. were writing, has left C. had written, had left D. were writing, had left 解析:“把书忘在办公室”发生在“去取书”这一过去的动作之前,因此“忘了书”这一动作发生在过去的过去,用过去完成时。句中when表示的是时间的一点,表示在“同学们正忙于……”这一背景下,when所引导的动作发生。因此前一句应用过去进行时。 答案:D. 点评:had no ... when 还没等……就…… had no sooner ... than 刚……就…… E.g.
