    重点一:宾语从句
    1)考点评述:主要在单项选择、句型转换(合并句子)、完成句子中考查。
    2)知识回顾
    1. 宾语从句由关系代词或关系副词引出。我们根据引导宾语从句的连词不同,可把宾语从句分为三类:
    ①以that引导的宾语从句。
    ②以if和whether引导的宾语从句。
    ③以连接代词或连接副词引导的宾语从句。  
    2. 运用宾语从句要注意以下几点:       
    ①宾语从句的语序一定是陈述句语序。
    ②主句的谓语动词的时态如果是过去时态,宾语从句谓语动词的时态要选用相应的过去某一种形式。
    ③如果宾语从句表示的是客观真理,事实时,即使主句是过去式,从句仍用一般现在时。

    -Because she likes her students very much.
     A. why so many students like the teacher

    解析:本题主要考查了学生对宾语从句的理解。通过知识回顾中“宾语从句的语序一定是陈述句语序”的讲解,可排除掉B,C,通过上下文理解:此处Could并非过去式,而是表示委婉的语气,故D项也不对。
    答案:A
     例2 2008·湖北恩施)
             -Could you please tell me _________?
    -I live in Enshi, Hubei.
              A. where do you live                B. if you live in Enshi
           C. where you live                    D. where you were born
           解析:通过上下文联系可知问句是问“你住在哪儿”,先排除B,再通过“宾语从句的语序一定是陈述句语序”排掉A,这儿的Could也是表示委婉的语气,而非过去式,故D也不对。

    点评:对于此类问题的解决需要学生熟悉知识回顾中所列两条,尤其是第二条。
    重点二:一般过去式和现在完成时
    1)考点评述:主要在单项选择、动词填空中考查二者的区别
    2)知识回顾:一般过去式只是表示事情发生在过去,陈述一个事实,它可以和确定的表示过去的时间状语如:last night, in 1999, three days ago等连用。而现在完成时表示某一完成的动作对现在造成的影响或结果,强调的是现在的情况,所以它不能和确定的表示过去的时间状语连用。如:We have seen that film. 我们已看过那部电影。对现在造成的影响是我们对影片已有所了解。We saw the film last night. 昨天晚上我们看了那部电影。只说明昨天晚上看电影这一事实。
    3)考题赏析

    解析:本题主要考查一般过去式和现在完成时的区别,从题中可以看出:问句中有明确时间状语“on January 5, 2008”,因此是过去式,而答语也有现在完成时的标志词already,故本题A错;又答句中主语Our scientists为复数,因此B项也能排掉。
    答案:C
