On the last day of the year, most people have a big party to welcome the New Year. Dring the summer, people usually spend their time doing outdoor activities. People go camping or hiking in the mountains. Others take up a sport or go to the beach. In the United States and Canada, students often spend their summer at summer camps, where they meet and play with new friends. Another popular summer vacation activity is to visit another country. Cities like New York and Pairs are very popular choices. When people visit another country, they normal go sightseeing, visit museums and eat at restaurants.
