The Tomatina The Tomatina (番茄节)is Spain's famous festival. It is the biggest tomato fight in the world as well as one of the biggest food fights (打仗)in Europe. It takes place yearly on the last Wednesday in August in Bunol, a small town in Valencia (巴伦西亚). Tens of thousands of people from all over the world gather in Bunol to throw tomatoes at each other. The Tomatina is not religious (宗教的)festival, but there are many stories about its history.
